Hi!

I am so incredibly excited to share that I'll be running the NYC Marathon this November - a lifelong bucket list moment and something I will be doing alongside my mom, my inspiration for my running journey & so many other things in my life.  

Even more exciting is the opportunity to run on behalf of Keep a Child Alive, an inspiring and deeply impactful organization that provides essential healthcare, support, and love to children and families affected by HIV in underserved communities, primarily in Africa and India. Their mission centers not only on treatment, but on restoring dignity, hope, and the chance at a future - something every child deserves, no matter where they’re born.

This cause holds personal meaning for me. Two summers ago, I had the chance to spend time in Ghana, an experience that opened my eyes and heart in ways I’m still unpacking. I met people whose strength and warmth left a lasting imprint, and it deepened my understanding of both the challenges and the resilience found in communities facing the ongoing impact of HIV. Running for KCA feels like a small way to honor those memories and to support work that is led with heart and rooted in justice.

As I train for this marathon, I’m holding close the purpose behind each mile and I would be so grateful for your support in helping me reach my fundraising goal.
